| FreeCC 0.9.2 (Default branch) - 11/20/2008 07:34 PM |
|
FreeCC (formerly KawaDD) is parser/lexer generator
written in Java. It is a development fork of the
well known JavaCC parser generator originally
developed at Sun Microsystems. It has extra
features such as "code injection" and more
flexible tree-building strategies. Also, it is far
easier to customize the code the tool generates,
because it uses FreeMarker templates that can be
tailored for one's needs.
License: BSD License (revised) Changes: This release contains a host of minor bugfixes, as well as some extra polish, such as an Ant task. |

| Low-Level Virtual Machine 2.4 (Default branch) - 11/20/2008 07:08 PM |
|
Low-Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) is a compiler infrastructure designed for compile-time, link-time, run-time, and "idle-time" optimization of programs from arbitrary programming languages. It currently supports compilation of C, Objective-C, and C++ programs, using front-ends derived from GCC 4.0, GCC 4.2, and a custom new front-end, "clang". It supports x86, x86_64, ia64, PowerPC, and SPARC, with support for Alpha and ARM under development.
License: OSI Approved Changes: This release includes improved compilation speed, support for multiple return values in LLVM IR, and initial support for PIC16. llvmc2 (the generic compiler driver) gained plugin support. It is now easier to experiment with llvmc2 and build your own tools based on it. This release also includes an optional build system based on CMake. It still is in its early stages, but can be useful for Visual C++ users who cannot use the Visual Studio IDE. Other improvements in LLVM internals include a more efficient representation that leads to lower memory usage and better vector support. |

fluid-structure interaction simulation, and it is
mathematically based on higher-order tetrahedral
elements. It provides front-ends to matrix solvers
and mesh generators.
License: BSD License (revised) Changes: Much time went into the development of mesh manipulation code, i.e. edge collapse and vertex clustering routines (see the surfacemodel_c interface). Parallel solving of vector-valued problems that have decoupled components is now made easy by means of threads and employed in a new fluid solver. Some quite significant enhancements can also be found in the visualization code. |

|
iTunes Export provides the ability to export
iTunes Playlists to the standard .m3u file format.
Unfortunately, this feature is not included in the
iTunes application and is extremely useful for

| libburnia 0.6.10.pl01 (libisofs branch) - 11/19/2008 10:18 PM |
|
libburnia is a project comprised of libraries and
binaries for reading, mastering, and writing
optical discs. It provides libburn, a CD/DVD/BD
burn library, libisofs, a manipulation library for
ISO 9660 filesystems, and libisoburn, a ISO 9660
multi-session library. On top of them there is
cdrskin, a cdrecord emulator, and xorriso, a
all-in-one application for ISO 9660 multi-session
operations which additionaly provides a limited
emulation of mkisofs.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: If images that were generated by mkisofs were expanded by a libisofs session, then files of size 0 shared their size information with files that contained data. Another bug prevented the SYSLINUX script isohybrid from creating an MBR that would really boot. |
| xorriso 0.2.8.pl01 (Default branch) - 11/19/2008 10:18 PM |
|
xorriso creates, loads, manipulates, and writes ISO 9660 filesystem images with Rock Ridge extensions.
It can load the management information of existing ISO images, and it writes the session results to optical media or to filesystem objects. This is the standalone version that incorporates the libraries of libburnia-project.org and thus depends only on Linux 2.4 (or later), libc, and libpthread. No separate mkisofs and no CD/DVD burn program are needed.
License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: A bug in libisofs affected images that were generated by mkisofs. If expanded by xorriso sessions, files of size 0 could hide the content of their neighbors. Another bug prevented the SYSLINUX script isohybrid from creating an MBR that would really boot. |
| imageTagger 0.5 (Default branch) - 11/19/2008 10:05 PM |
